Trevor has spent the last decade as a studio musician, performer, and guitar instructor of multiple styles including blues, jazz, funk, Latin, metal, fingerstyle, and country. Trevor was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon where he began playing the guitar when he was thirteen after watching his father and older brothers play for years. He joined the high school jazz band where he at first struggled to tackle concepts like improvisation and music theory. In order to improve at these facets, Trevor enrolled in the music program at the University of Oregon, where he studied studio guitar which developed his knowledge in music theory and songwriting. After graduating from the UO, Trevor moved to Austin, Texas in 2012 to further his career as a professional musician. Trevor has been inspired by musicians such as John Scofield, Bireli Lagrane, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Guthrie Govan, Tomo Fujita and Victor Wooten.
